What is Bungee Fitness?
Originating in Europe, Bungee Fitness is an exciting new way to have a fun, high-energy motion-based cardio workout. Participants are connected to ceiling anchor points via a harness and specially designed bungee cords. Calibrated to your individual weight, the cords provide resistance and buoyancy to your movements. You are not suspended - your feet remain on the ground - yet you can squat, jump, leap and fly while being supported and restrained by the bungee cords. Plyometrics – also know as jump training- muscles exert maximum force in short intervals to increase both speed and power. Low-Impact Plyometrics, Aerobic Cardio, and Resistance offers clients maximum benefits without the pain and all the FUN! Clients can expect to burn an average of 350-800 calories in one workout!
Are there restrictions?
Due to manufacturer and equipment regulations we do have to enforce a weight limit. Participants must weigh at least 90 pounds and cannot weigh more than 250 pounds. If you are pregnant you are unable to participate. All individuals must sign a waiver in order to participate. You must be at least 13 years old to participate and if under 18 a waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
I Don’t Exercise, But This Looks Fun. How Hard Is It?
While bungee fitness reduces impact by up to 70 percent, it is still a high-energy exercise workout. If you struggle to do one burpee unassisted, cannot do a squat, or have any difficulty staying active for more that three minutes at a time, you may find this workout too challenging.
What If I’m Running Late?
Don’t be late! Once class starts, our instructors will not be able to stop the warm-up to take late arrivals. Your cost for the class will not be refunded if you cancel within 8 hours of class-time.
What If I Need to Cancel?
You may cancel or reschedule a class through your PushPress Members App. Remember that you must do this within 8 hours of your scheduled class. If you have created an account, you have the option to log in and modify your class reservations that way as well. Classes can only be cancelled or rescheduled this way. We cannot cancel your class reservation over the phone or email. Please do not leave a voicemail requesting to cancel a class reservation. These will not be honored even if outside of the 8 hour time limit. Once you purchase a class there are no refunds. You may apply it towards another class.
Can I Bring My Kids While I Do Class? What About My Friend? Can She Watch?
We’re sorry, but children are not allowed inside the studio unattended. This is for liability reasons and their safety. Our staff is not there to watch your children during class. As well, this is not a spectator exercise, we kindly ask that guests not watch during class out of respect of our clients.
What Class Do I Take First?
Everyone must start with Intro to Bungee. This class will show you how to get into the harness, learn basic footwork and elevate your heartrate! This is a 60 minute class. You are welcome and encouraged to take this class as many times as you want to before moving on to Level One, which increases intensity with less instruction.
Why do you have a weight limit?
We hate the fact that we have to have a weight limit, and wish it weren’t the case. Our weight limit is set based off multiple different factors. This can be broken down mainly into our equipment and our physical space. Our equipment has been manufactured after years of trial and error in order to find the best fit for as many people as possible. There are harnesses that accommodate weight limits that exceed 250 pounds or less than 90 pounds but they tend to be more restrictive and not allow for the movements we like to complete. The weight limit also accounts for the pounds of force an individual will place on their station during a workout. While a person may be at their station completing a workout they may exert hundreds of pounds of force onto the equipment to accommodate the movements. We do offer nutrition coaching and a program that is scientifically proven to help you lose weight. We will work with you to help you meet the weight requirements for bungee fitness.
What should I know before my first class?
Bungee classes allow for an impact reduction but these classes are still very high energy. This workout may be challenging for those who don't have a cardiovascular endurance built up. Don't worry though, it will come with experience. Athletic shoes are a requirement. We recommend that leggings, bike shorts or sweatpants be worn and long hair be pulled back in a bun or braid. We do offer foam padding for your legs and stomach area for as much comfort as possible. Shorts and crop tops may cause additional friction from the harness and could cause discomfort. Upon arrival to class each individual will be weighed privately and assisted to their station in order for the equipment to be customized accordingly. Please bring your own water bottle and sweat towel. Eat a few hours before and use the restroom before the beginning of class, we will not take breaks once class has started.
What are the class policies?
Participants will be able to come into the studio beginning 5 minutes before the class time listed. This will start the weighing and hookup process. The first 15 minutes of class are dedicated to set up and safety procedures. The door is locked while classes are in session, this is for the safety of our instructors and participants. If the door is locked upon arrival please be patient as another class may still be in session. You will not be allowed in after the first 15 minutes of your scheduled class time (6:15 for a 6:00 scheduled class etc.). Do not try new skills without directions from the instructor. Do not hang from the bungees.
What is a private party?

These are perfect opportunities for bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, friends night out, or group/team building events. These parties operate the same way as all our other classes with safety being our #1 priority. Regular class rules and guidelines must be followed in order to participate in these parties.
